Overview

The Photoshop & Illustrator Specialist plays a crucial role in our organization by creating visually compelling designs and graphics using industry-standard software. They contribute to the overall branding and marketing efforts by producing high-quality visuals that communicate our brand identity and effectively engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Create and design various materials such as logos, banners, typography, and infographics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts that align with the brand's vision and messaging.

Produce and edit visuals for web and print materials, ensuring high-quality and consistent branding.

Stay updated on design trends and best practices to continuously improve the visual aesthetic of our materials.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their design needs and deliver tailored creative solutions.

Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across various platforms.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new design concepts.

Collaborate with external vendors and agencies for specialized design projects when necessary.

Perform quality checks on all deliverables to maintain a high standard of work.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's visual assets and design library.

Provide support and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Participate in design review sessions and incorporate feedback to improve design iterations.

Stay informed about emerging design technologies and tools, making recommendations for software upgrades and adoption.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Demonstrated expertise in creating visual content for both digital and print platforms.

Proficient understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Up-to-date knowledge of design software and industry trends.

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition.

Experience in adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in visual branding.

Understanding of pre-press and printing processes for producing print-ready materials.

Ability to adapt to feedback and make necessary revisions to designs.

Knowledge of web design and user interface principles is advantageous.

Experience in video editing and motion graphics is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.

Proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new design techniques and tools.
