Marvell's Custom Compute and Storage (CCS) team develops silicon and software for some of the largest companies in the world in the growing datacenter, AI, enterprise, wireless, and automotive compute markets.If there is a bit being processed, moved, secured, or stored in infrastructure equipment it is likely Marvell's products are involved. The Accelerator Solutions Team in the CCS BU aims to be at the forefront of innovation, researching cutting-edge, emerging technologies, and creating proof of concepts as harbingers of future products.What You Can Expect
As a member of our team, you will work closely with architects and technologists to influence R&D in accelerated compute, networking, storage, and security technologies, including emerging low-latency transport protocols.
Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies and assist early adopters.
Design and deploy advanced networking solutions for AI/ML workloads, addressing customer needs.
Implement AI/ML-driven transport protocols and software for advanced hardware.
Collaborate with R&D to create new features and integrate with frameworks like CXL, P4, and DPDK.
Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot complex issues in large-scale environments.
Gain hands-on experience with hyperscale workloads and develop simulation environments for AI/ML.
Review and enhance existing designs and processes.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 8-12 years of experience.
Understanding of RoCE, RDMA, and DPU concepts.
Extensive experience in developing and debugging Ethernet switches/routers and network protocols.
Proficient in multiple programming languages, including C, Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
Experience with high-speed network packet I/O, networking security, and AI/ML workload setup using benchmarking tools like MLPerf.
Familiarity with security protocols such as PSP, IPSec, TLS
Hands-on experience in performance benchmarking, system profiling, and tuning.
Strong proficiency in Linux environments and networking.
Understanding of DMA, interrupts, processes, memory management, and synchronization.
Eager to learn and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective in collaboration and customer engagement.
Excellent communication skills in distributed team settings.
Capable of independent task planning and execution.
