With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Our mission is to bring state-of-the-art media understanding and generation from Google’s Research and Core ML teams to YouTube, and drastically lower the effort needed to create a great video or live stream, inspire new ideas, and power new ways for creators to interact with each other and with their viewers. Our work is integral to the success of YouTube’s major consumer experiences including YouTube Shorts, YouTube Live, and YouTube Create.

As the Reliability Lead you will lead the performance and reliability efforts as we scale the Media Engine’s Creation Platform to multiple product surfaces.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
