Play Beyond Mobile team brings Play Store and the apps ecosystem to any Android device which is not a mobile phone. This includes Chromebooks, tablets, AndroidTV, Android XR, Android AutomotiveOS, and WearOS. Not only are we among the first Googlers to get access to the latest upcoming hardware, we also have a phenomenal opportunity to be some of the first engineers to develop on these platforms, work closely with their respective framework teams, and play a major role in shaping these platforms and their ecosystems. Our team in Bengaluru will be focused on bringing a premium store experience and ecosystem to the WearOS platform.Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide.
