Summary

You must have extensive knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, and experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. Experience with interfaces, IDocs, and ABAP debugging is also essential.
Must have:
  • 10+ years FICO experience (5+ years Lead experience)

Role - SAP FICO Managing Consultant
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and talented FICO Managing Consultant with a proven track record in SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and AMS support. As a FICO Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our client’s business needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams. You should have good experience of working in Onsite/Offshore Delivery model.

SAP Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field.
  • 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience as a FICO Consultant out of which at least 5 years of experience at Lead level in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Proven experience leading full-cycle SAP FICO AMS Support projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
  • Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, eDocument.
  • Should be able to read and debug ABAP program.
  • Good understanding of SAP PS (Project System), FI-MM and FI-SD integration.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices and COPA.
  • SAP certification(s) in FICO modules is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SAP FICO Support projects, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, and overseeing testing and deployment.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and support teams.
  • Responsible for timely project deliverables of a team of 10+ FICO consultants.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Work on CR’s / min projects / bug fixes in FICO area.
  • Co ordination with other application team members on processes which runs across multiple applications including SAP.
  • Work closely with internal finance team.
