A.  JOB PROFILE
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Description:

The Innovation Manager will work closely with leadership to drive the implementation of key activities relating to embedding innovation in the Risk Services business nationally. This is part of the Innovation strategic pillar.  
Key activities will include:

  • Innovation workshop development and facilitation
  • Training of design thinking fundamentals
  • Management of the Innovation Champion network
  • Business model analysis and enhancement
  • Working with teams across the business to drive innovative thinking, facilitate interaction with internal support teams and communicate the appropriate processes required
  • Process optimisation relating to innovation and managing risk and quality
  • To assist with the identification, assessment and reporting of new services and products within Risk Services
  • Strategic input on the implementation of innovation across the business
  • Financial management of the Innovation team
  • Project management and logistics of Innovation team initiatives and events
  • Establishing metrics to measure success of team’s projects
  • Networking with xLos staff to aid in driving innovation objectives
  • Establishing rapport with event suppliers and facilitating quotation and billing.
  • Integrating GenAI into the operational processes within the Innovation team

PERSON PROFILE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bcom or equivalent
CA(SA) preferable

  • Strong interest and passion for innovation (design thinking experience would be a plus)
  • Strong cognitive abilities and eager to learn
  • General business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
