This Security Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based attack simulation platforms. The engineer will work with security researchers and defenders to create realistic simulations of adversary tactics. Responsibilities include developing new platform features using C# and Azure, ensuring solution quality, reliability, and scalability, and collaborating with other engineers and researchers. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, along with experience in C# application and Azure-based cloud service development. Basic knowledge of machine learning and security concepts is required.

We are looking for an Attack Simulation Platform Engineer to join our Dublin based team and help us build the next generation of attack simulation platforms. You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative team that works closely with security researchers and defenders to create realistic and impactful simulations of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). You will use your engineering skills to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions that provide the platform to generate and execute attack scenarios across Microsoft's products and services. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of your solutions, as well as supporting them in production.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
· 2+ years of experience in developing C# applications.
· 2+ years of experience in developing Azure-based cloud services.
· Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
· Basic knowledge of security concepts and principles.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

· Experience with Powershell, Python and other scripting languages a plus

Responsibilities

· Work with attack engineers and partner teams to design and develop new attack simulation platform features and capabilities.
· Develop, release, and support new features in production using C# and Azure-based cloud services.
· Create high quality, well tested, and innovative solutions to drive advancement in the attack simulation space.
Collaborate with other engineers, researchers, and defenders to share insights, feedback, and best practices.
