Avalor is now part of Zscaler and we're looking for an experienced Back end Software Engineer to join our team, work in a #HYBRID mode. Reporting to the local Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture using Java /Spring Boot and Python & participate in design from scratch to production
- Deliver high quality features for our high-scale web environment
- Monitor the performance and cost of the services in production
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to improve our technology stack and development processes
- Integrate with other team members (backend/frontend/product/UX) & mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the team
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of proven backend development experience using Java/Spring Boot
- Experience working in a microservices environment, including AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, SQS, and Tilt
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proficiency in various data stores such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, Snowflake, and Elastic
