Job Description
The Senior Backend Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis. This role requires strong experience in system design and creating RESTful APIs. The candidate must be proficient in design patterns, writing unit test cases, and API tests. They should also have a strong understanding of backend development principles. The job involves ensuring the backend systems are scalable, efficient, and reliable. It also involves mentoring junior developers and collaborating with other teams to build and deploy features.
Must have:
- Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis
- 6+ years' experience with Python
- Strong intuition on system design
- 6+ years experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong in design patterns
- Experienced in writing unit test cases and API tests
