The Senior Benefits Broker will advise clients on best practices, financial management, compliance, communication, and administration of health and benefit plans, focusing on various insurance types. They will support clients, administrate insurance policies, mediate between clients and insurers, and maintain daily contact with corporate clients. The role requires teamwork, seeking market solutions, and aligning with client benefits strategies. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Benefits Consulting team at Mercer. This role is based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Advise clients (big, multinational and complex clients) on best practices, financial management, compliance, communication and administration of health and benefit plans, having a strong knowledge on a great variety of insurances (health, life, accidents and pensions) as well as other flex benefits;
  • Support our clients and administrate the insurance policies (renewal, negotiation, quotation, etc.);
  • Mediation between clients, prospects and insurers;
  • Daily contact with corporate clients (local and international);
  • Work as a team with a great spirit of mutual help;
  • Search for the best solutions in the market and align our delivery with the benefits strategy of our clients.

What you need to have: 

  • More than 3 years of experience working with health insurances;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Resilience, proactivity and flexibility;
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
