Senior Cloud AWS Engineer

CloudHire is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud AWS Engineer to join our team in the Information Technology and Services industry. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business requirements
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes
• Perform system monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and followed in all cloud-based solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and evaluate their applicability to our platform

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
