Remote Role!!! Unity and Unreal Engine Experience Essential
Seedworld Studios is looking for a talented and experienced DevOps engineer to join one of the most unique UGC platforms in the games industry. You should have a strong knowledge of infrastructure, automation and experience setting up infrastructure and processes in the game development industry.
Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and efficient CI/CD pipeline for Unreal Engine projects
-Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate development cycles
-Crash reporting tools
-Integrate version control systems (Perforce) into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless tracking and management of code changes.
-Implement and manage artifact repositories for storing and versioning build artifacts and dependencies.
-Automate deployment processes for Unreal Engine applications to various environments, including staging and production.
-Implement blue-green deployments and canary releases to minimize downtime and risk.
-Set up monitoring tools to track the performance of the CI/CD pipeline.
-Continuously optimize and improve the CI/CD workflow for speed, reliability, and efficiency
-Interfaces to publisher or first parties systems (e.g. uploading builds, querying data, …)
Nice to have:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-Several years of experience in DevOps, build engineering or related fields, ideally in the games industry
-Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine and its development workflow.
-Experience with CI/CD tools(TeamCity, Cloud DevOps)
-Scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
-Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
-Experience with frameworks such as Agones, Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer and Helmfile.
Team Structure:
You will be an integral part of a DevOps engineering team, working closely with other DevOps engineers and the game development team.
