Job Description

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will maintain existing services (bug fixes, security updates), build new APIs and web applications, migrate legacy services to new technologies, create and manage online ads for private users (Web), manage appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web), and run user profile services to store and manage user data. The role requires 5+ years of experience with TypeScript for web application development and proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java/Spring Boot or Node.js for API and web application building. Fluent English is mandatory.

AWS experience (hosting, RDS/SQL, Lambda, CloudFront)

Must Have:

5+ years TypeScript experience
Proficient in JavaScript
Solid HTML & CSS knowledge
Java/Spring Boot or Node.js API experience

About the client:

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates)
Building new APIs and web applications
Migrating legacy services to new technologies
Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
Managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web)
Running user profile services to store and manage user data

Requirements:

Must-Have:

5+ years of experience with TypeScript for web application development
Proficiency with JavaScript for web application development
Solid HTML and CSS knowledge
Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js for building APIs and web applications
Fluent English (at least Upper-Intermediate level)

Should Have:

Experience with hosting in Cloud (preferred AWS)
Docker/containers
AWS RDS/SQL DB
AWS Lambda
AWS CloudFront

Nice to Have:

Experience with observability tools like Datadog
