As a Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant/ Developer, this is what you’ll be doing:

As Senior Netsuite Developer / Consultant, you will help identify and introduce process enhancements and optimizations, adapting them to the unique business requirements at QS. In this role, you will collaborate with finance and Sales teams to gather and understand business requirements related to financial processes or other Business processes. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a knack for simplifying complex tasks. You will play a crucial role in implementing the best practices and technical solutions on NetSuite and 3rd party Integrations.

The ideal candidate should have worked as a Netsuite Technical Consultant working with SuiteCloud Platform leveraging Suite Script 2.0 for implementing best practices and technical solutions on NetSuite and 3rd party Integrations. You will have a particular eye for detail and be comfortable in interrogating and analysing large amounts of data. 

The candidate will have a proven track record of project delivery. From initial scoping, through design, implementation, testing, and deployment, they will be comfortable communicating with stakeholders from all areas of the business, with an ability to interpret their needs into the most appropriate system-based solutions.  

Where necessary, they will be required to liaise with third-party consultants and developers to communicate our needs, along with managing a pipeline of requirements through our relationship with NetSuite Advanced Customer Support (ACS).  

Role responsibilities:

• Work with the functional consulting team to deliver NetSuite solutions including customization, scripting, integrations & support case resolutions
• Design and develop Suite Script customizations, workflows, and integrations to automate tasks, improve reporting, and streamline financial processes.
• Familiarity with financial modules within NetSuite, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of customizations.
• Develop and implement data integrations with other systems, such as banks, payment processors, Hubspot CRM, Concur etc.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into NetSuite requirements
• Utilize the Release Preview environment to test forthcoming releases and manage our two Sandbox accounts.
• Manage and build workflows to enhance business processes. Drive longer-term enhancement projects by analysing requirements, developing and maintaining reporting needs and collaborating across multiple departments such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to develop effective solutions that result in process optimization and efficiency gains
• Document all customizations and maintain clear and concise documentation
• Ensure system compliance with company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations and changes
• Assist with NetSuite upgrades and migrations

Key skills and experience: 

• Expertise in Netsuite Technical Development
• Must have hands on experience in Suite Talk, Suite Script and SuiteFlow
• Understanding of integrations between Hubspot/Salesforce CRM and NetSuite applications is a plus
• Experience with XML, REST APIs, and data integration tools
• Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize several tasks concurrently
• Experience reporting and analysing data
• Effective communication, documentation and training skills
• Attention to detail, ability to deliver on time
• NetSuite Essentials, Foundation, Consultant certifications preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer science or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
