Project description

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Python Developer, working for one of Luxoft clients as part of a telecom test solution engineering team.

The successful candidate will work as a key member of the telecom test solution Engineering team. We are contributing to a family of products that are used for functional, system integration, capacity and stress testing in the lab and emulate up 1000's of mobile devices, across multiple cells to set up and test 4G and 5G Base Stations.

Responsibilities

Full participation in the development life cycle for new features, from specification writing, to design, implementation and testing, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards

Delivering new features to the product from design through to development and testing, prototyping where necessary.

Ensuring the product's Quality and Performance based on automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.

Finding and alleviating architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that truly help our customers achieving the same.

Exposing our product's features and capabilities through a configuration and management interface that is truly useful for the customer.

Making our solution smarter, easier to integrate, and more able to diagnose issues and provide insightful and practical tips to our customers.

Working effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issues

Skills

Must have

Overall software developer experience 5+ years, preferably with Python related applications

Python Version 3 (3+ years)

Experience with asynchronous programming (3+ years)

InfluxDB, RedisDB, PostgreSql or similar SQL

1 year plus (or equivalent)

Nice to have

Agile development

Docker, Docker Compose
