We are looking for a Senior Staff Resident Engineer to join our Federal Professional Services team, reporting to the manager of Federal Professional Services. In this role, you will prepare and validate equipment configurations for new installations, troubleshoot network issues, and assess the overall health of the Infoblox infrastructure at the client’s location. This individual will be onsite in Fort Meade, MD.  This role requires active Secret clearance. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing, successful, and innovative organization. What you’ll do:  
  • Implementation, integration, and migration planning
  • Develop and maintain fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution
  • Work on network-related testing to ensure Infoblox products operate correctly, and validation testing of Infoblox products
  • Support and plan for Infoblox migrations, including assistance with DNS migration, scripted cutover procedures, go/no-go criteria for migration and Infoblox cutovers, and miscellaneous scripting support and Infoblox public API usage
  • Develop strategy and plan for DNSSEC deployment
  • Participate in architecture extensions for other functional areas
  • Document how to migrate data to the Infoblox Grid and the process for the bulk importing of data
  • Lead project status meetings and wrap-up/post-mortem meetings
  • Work on tools development, including record management process templates and documentation, and develop tools as necessary to import/verify data
What you’ll bring:  
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • 10 years of experience, with extensive experience with Infoblox or DDI
  • CCNA certification
  • Demonstrated expertise in Linux/UNIX, MS Windows/Active Directory/Exchange, networking, service management, and service desk
  • Excellent briefing skills and experience interacting with SES/general officer-level management
  • Ability to create ad-hoc written summary reports on equipment and network problems
  • Experience creating equipment test plans and results, feature and functionality test plans, network diagrams and operations, and support procedures
  • Experience providing technical input to major service outage root cause analysis and corrective action reports
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
What success looks like: 
After six months, you will… 
  • Become integrated with your customer and Infoblox processes and procedures
  • Understand your customer’s technical needs and requirements and recommend solutions
  • Work directly with your Infoblox Sales team and manager on potential up-sell of products
  • Complete all required Infoblox federal and technical training
After about a year, you will… 
  • Receive successful customer satisfaction surveys
  • Work toward renewal of the resident engineer
