Job Summary
Job Description
Soap Central, part of Absolute Sports, seeks a contract SEO Analyst (remote) with 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities include executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies (acquiring brand mentions, publisher outreach, on-page optimization), conducting outreach campaigns to increase authority and search engine relevance, and performing data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets. The role requires strong communication, knowledge of US entertainment, and basic website/HTML knowledge. Daily/weekly analysis of various sports data is also involved.
Must have:

The Opportunity

Experience: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities
Assisting the SEO team in executing on-page and off-page strategies like acquiring brand mentions, reaching out to publishers, and optimizing on-page stuff.
Conducting outreach for off-page SEO campaigns that drive awareness, increase authority and indicate relevance to the search engines.
Curiosity, problem-solving, and the willingness to learn new tasks as they arise.
Well-versed with either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to apply pivot tables, filters, and vlookup.
Assist the SEO team with daily, and weekly analysis for various sports in the following ways: sourcing data, cleaning data, and top-level data analysis. Tools: MS Excel, G-Sheets
Takes ownership and is responsible for the tasks, or duties provided.
Competitive Research for multiple sports sections.
Conducting outreach for off-page SEO campaigns that drive awareness, increase authority and indicate relevance to the search engines.

Basic knowledge of how websites work, and HTML.Knowledge of entertainment space, movies, shows, pop culture in US region
Excellent communication skills with a stronghold in written and spoken English
