Purpose

PerkinElmer is seeking a passionate and strategic Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Everest platform. This individual will be responsible for bridging the gap between customer needs and technical execution, ensuring the platform delivers a transformative user experience for laboratories worldwide. Through a deep understanding of the market, user empathy, and strong leadership skills, this Senior Product Manager will define the product roadmap, drive user adoption, and ultimately revolutionize the way laboratories operate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product management function for the Everest platform, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Conduct thorough market research and user analysis to identify customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends in the life sciences industry.
  • Translate market requirements into actionable features and user stories, ensuring the platform delivers a compelling value proposition for global labs.
  • Lead a team of 10+ product owners embedded with our software service provider in India. These product owners will guide scrum teams in developing platform features, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and roadmap.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Champion user experience (UX) by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and advocating for user-centric design principles.
  • Develop and manage product documentation, including product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and test cases.
  • Track product performance metrics, analyze user data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product presentations to stakeholders and potential customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in laboratory technology and software solutions.

Basic Qualifications
