We are looking for hands-on engineers with proven experience developing, running, and scaling applications and platforms in a production environment. You will work on a highly-focused engineering team implementing applications, platforms, microservices, and handling large sets of data.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal candidate is a self-starter and motivated to understand and leverage cutting edge technologies that will bring value to the organization. You will also play a vital role driving software innovations.</div></div><div class="section page-centered"><div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>Be a part of a high performing team developing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective software solutions with an emphasis on quality, performance, resilience, and efficiency.</li><li>Work with Product, Operations, and Engineering stakeholders to understand the production and scalability requirements of assigned projects.</li><li>Work on several projects with multiple dependencies and complex requirements upstream and downstream and with stakeholders across teams.</li><li>Contribute to the design, implementation, deployment, and operation of our production applications, platforms, and pipelines.</li></ul></ul></div></div><div class="section page-centered"><div><h3>REQUIREMENTS:</h3><ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>A graduate degree in computer science, or similar discipline.</li><li>2-4 years of professional software development experience delivering high quality standalone and web applications, platforms, and micro services.</li><li>Proficiency with Ruby on Rails (requirement/use will diminish over time).</li><li>Proficiency with Go (requirement/use will increase over time).</li><li>Proficiency with Javascript/Typescript and React (<a rel="noopener noreferrer" class="postings-link" href="http://vue.js">vue.js</a> experience short term)</li><li>Experience with a wide variety of databases (relational, non-relational, graph, in-memory).
