Job Description
This Software Engineer III position at Google Cloud Platform's Threat Intelligence team in Málaga, Spain focuses on designing, developing, and implementing new features and enhancements for their platform. Responsibilities include contributing to systems processing and analyzing threat intelligence data, collaborating with security experts to translate their needs into features, and optimizing performance, scalability, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development (e.g., C/C++, Python, Go, Java), data structures and algorithms, and building software for data privacy or security. Experience with data pipelines (e.g., MapReduce, Apache Beam, Google Dataflow) and Google Cloud Platform is preferred. The role involves working on critical projects, with opportunities for growth and switching teams.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years software development experience
- 2+ years experience with data structures/algorithms
- 2+ years experience in data privacy/security software
- Design, develop, and implement new features
Good to have:
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Go, Java
- Experience with data pipelines (MapReduce, Apache Beam, etc.)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 2 years of experience in building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, Go, Java).
- Experience in working with data pipelines (e.g., MapReduce, Apache Beam, Apache Hadoop, Google Dataflow, etc.) or Google Cloud Platform.
