Software Engineering Intern
Duration: 3 months
Work Schedule: Full-time
Location: Remote (Bangladesh)

About the Software Engineer Intern Role:

The Software Engineer Intern will support software engineers on their processes, shadowing their daily tasks, and performing duties under mentors' guidance. In this role, this person will be responsible for contributing to software design and software development. The person will collaborate with other team members to create secure and reliable software solutions.

The Software Engineer Intern Responsibilities:

• Works with mid-level and senior engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications and programs.
• Performs routine tasks, including debugging, testing and coding. 
• Writes readable and well-tested codes. 
• Documents and tests new software applications.
• Helps upgrade existing software or applications.
• Researches, investigates and fixes a wide range of technical issues.
• Collaborates with senior leaders to build innovative software solutions.
• Proactively learns about new technologies.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area, Or, currently enrolled in a relevant BSc (4th year student). 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with Javascript and basic understanding of NoSQL, databases preferably MongoDB.
• Experience with React, Express, Node Js and serverless would be a plus.
• Experience in competitive programming would be a plus.
• Have broad understanding across the engineering stack.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively within a team environment to meet goals. 
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid work authorization required.
