Job Description

The Solution Consultant role is a customer-facing position responsible for leading requirement discovery and designing/implementing Stibo Systems' Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. You will facilitate conceptual and detailed design sessions, collaborate with Solution Architects on data models, and understand client business issues and data challenges. Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, configuring the Stibo Systems STEP platform, supporting project managers, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be comfortable with ambiguity, and handle multiple client engagements.
Must have:
  • Degree in Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of solution consulting experience
  • 2+ years of experience implementing packaged software solutions
  • Ability to work in Agile or Waterfall projects
  • Strong communication skills
Good to have:
  • Stibo MDM solutions experience
  • Comfort training customers and technical staff
  • Understanding of SDLC

Job Details

The Solution Consultant is a mission critical, customer facing role, that is responsible for leading the facilitation and discovery of client requirements and the design and implementation of Stibo Systems’ Master Data Management (MDM) solution to meet those requirements.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead Conceptual and Detailed Design sessions to identify a client’s Master Data Management requirements
  • Work with Solution Architect to develop initial and future state data model 
  • Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry
  • Identify client organization's data management strengths and weaknesses and have the ability to document “as is” and “to be” processes
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Develop complex specifications for client engagements
  • Define and configure the Stibo Systems STEP platform
  • Support the Project Manager to identify risks, timelines, dependencies and critical path activities
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Ensure a full understanding on project scope and proactively work with PM and client to minimize scope creep


You will have a thorough understanding of system design principles and will love to whiteboard and draw to help explain and communicate. You will also be comfort in leading and facilitating discussions in front of different levels of stakeholders, both internal and external to Stibo Systems. Therefore, you must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and have the ability to influence and make decisions with less than 100% information available to you. Likewise, you understand that there is constant change and have the ability to handle multiple client engagements and responsibilities

Moreover, you have:

  • Degree in Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of solution consulting experience
  • 2+ years of experience implementing packaged software solutions, Stibo MDM solutions preferable
  • Be comfortable training the customer and technical staff on configuring the solution and training end-users on using the solution
  • Ability to work in Agile or Waterfall projects with a thorough understanding of SDLC
  • A love of learning
