Job Description

As a Sourcing Purchaser within the Spare Parts division, the role involves building and managing a reliable supplier network aligned with TVH’s global sourcing strategy. Responsibilities include supplier relationship management, procurement, vendor selection, product development support, channel and category management, and market and supplier intelligence. This includes managing purchase orders, evaluating supplier opportunities, and maintaining supplier and product data. The role also involves optimizing product range and availability, and identifying new supplier opportunities.

Job Details

As a Sourcing Purchaser within our Spare Parts division, you will play a key role in building and managing a reliable supplier network that aligns with TVH’s global sourcing strategy. You will actively contribute to product development initiatives and support procurement activities to ensure optimal vendor selection, product availability, and cost-effectiveness.

Your role and responsibilities 

  • Supplier Relationship Management
    Establish, develop, and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and performance.

  • Procurement & Vendor Selection
    Support the Global Product Development (PRD) team in identifying and selecting the most suitable vendors for the (re)development of spare parts and components.

  • Product Development Support
    Conduct sourcing activities, initiate and manage purchase orders, evaluate supplier opportunities, and maintain up-to-date supplier and product data.

  • Channel & Category Management
    Manage assigned sourcing and purchasing channels to optimize product range, availability, and pricing. Support collaboration across teams and provide follow-up for intermediate procurement and multi-commodity suppliers under guidance.

  • Market & Supplier Intelligence
    Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current suppliers, product categories, market trends, and regional specifics. Identify and assess new supplier opportunities in alignment with strategic goals.

Your profile

  • You have a very good knowledge of English.

  • Experience in purchasing, sourcing or supply chain management—preferably in the spare parts or automotive industry is a plus.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
