This person’s role will be to support account management team’s engagement with key accounts and manage independently client engagement working closely with the account director, client partner, capability teams, sales & delivery teams to improve client businesses. Account managers will also manage able accounts for their day to day

Job Description:

  • Manage / support accounts to ensure positive customer experience, sustained and enhanced customer relationships, and revenue growth within accounts. Handle renewals, client relationships. In specific support client engagements in, cross sells, and upsells, leveraging capability teams, Merkle solutions, services, and new offerings. 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics; meet and exceed Revenue Targets 
  • Support capability teams on RFPs (request for proposal), building proposals, client pitches on solution and new capabilities  
  • Identify selling opportunities / build and manage opportunity pipeline within accounts. 
  • Develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and the customer’s decision-making hierarchy to proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. 
  • Support / collaborate with Client Partner to ensure growth attainment; support timely client reviews, escalations, and drive retention and growth of the business 
  • Be actively involved in researching and gathering market intelligence, strategic analysis, and proposition development to increase business opportunities for Merkle
  • Help the Client Partner build business plan with projected volume, revenues, and simulated P&Ls to present a business case to the stakeholders 
  • Manage weekly revenue forecasts/opp. on in-house CRM for accurate reporting 
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives 
  • Manage all the co-ordination regarding SOW/change orders, contract negotiations, security assessment with the client and Merkle legal teams 
  • Help Finance, Account Receivable and MIS teams raise monthly invoices and payment follow-ups 
  • Help the vertical heads to keep the account review plan and account map updated
