As a Business Transformation Manager, you will report to our VP of Business Consultancy Services. This role offers a hybrid work mode. Depending on the project scope, being onsite at the client might be a part of the role. You are an expert in consulting our clients along all phases of the project: from defining the initial vision and translating broad challenges into a specific roadmap, transformation programs and preparing the implementation, considering complex challenges, and create comprehensible business cases for them. As a lead consultant, you are responsible for the development of business strategies, considering the end customer, organizational and technology perspectives. You take on the strategic development of national and international clients and develop concrete recommendations for action based on your analysis of the relationship between business goals, content, customer data, technology, media and processes. You lead interdisciplinary teams in large and international pitches and consulting projects with joy and confidence to the customer's benefit. Our clients perceive you as a thought leader in business transformation - you fill this scope with joy and great professional confidence. Together with the team of highly qualified and experienced strategy consultants, you develop our business consulting services. You advise clients holistically on sales, marketing and communication strategies, considering organizational factors, processes, and business management with your excellent understanding of organizations, operating models, technology and commercial strategy. You have a comprehensive view of communication approaches and measures and a thoughtful understanding of the strategic positioning of companies/brands/people.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a consultant in a strategic function
  • Degree in economics, business informatics, computer science or a comparable course of study
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills, and convincing and confident appearance at C-level with the customer
  • Excellent knowledge of strategy development
  • Strategic and analytical skills combined with a gift for communicating complex solutions effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in leading and delivering national and/or international digitalization or transformation projects
  • Enthusiasm for several of the following topics: organizational development, change management, innovation management, business models, process optimization, multi-channel models, data and CRM, e-commerce
  • Team spirit and high willingness to learn new things
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (business fluent), on top of German
  • Enjoy presenting the ideas developed in the team in front of customers with a customer-centric mindset and a good business acumen

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a consultant in a strategic function in a professional services company, industry, a startup or in a renowned consultancy
  • A degree in economics, business informatics, computer science or a comparable course of study. A higher degree, Ph.D. or MBA is an advantage
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills, and convincing and confident appearance at C-level with the customer
  • Excellent knowledge of strategy development, underpinned by practical application of consulting methods and models
  • Strategic and analytical skills combined with a gift for communicating complex solutions effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in leading and delivering national and/or international digitalization or transformation projects
