Job Description

As a Senior Key Account Manager at Midtrans, you'll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key startup and offline-to-online (O2O) businesses in the company's portfolio. You'll act as the primary point of contact for these clients, ensuring their needs are met and deadlines are achieved. Your role will involve resolving issues, reporting on account progress, and identifying opportunities to increase Midtrans's share of wallet. You'll also need to maintain a strong understanding of the e-commerce market and collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Communication or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in business management, sales, or project management
  • Fluency in Bahasa and English
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in e-commerce and managing key accounts
  • Proven ability to maintain projects and effective relationships with accounts or partners

About The Role
Sales in Midtrans plays an important role to acquire, execute, and maintain partnerships with the most strategic startup and offline-to-online (O2O) businesses in the company’s portfolio. You will assist the Commercial Department in sales functions, including end-to-end management and executing all partnerships' contractual assets that help drive the company's key business goals.

What You Will do

    • Act as the lead point of contact for all key account matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed
    • Resolve key account issues and complaints
    • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and periodic initiatives to share with team leaders and peers on a regular basis
    • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of engagement, and take the account into the next level by increasing Midtrans’ share of wallet
    • Develop a strong understanding of the e-commerce market and be the first person that a client calls for escalation
    • Work closely with the Partnership and Banking teams to ensure rapport and collaboration between partners and clients
    • Responsible for administrative duties, such as preparing reports, preparing price quotes, maintaining and approving the entire agreements and forms

What You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Communication or related academic area
    • At least 6 years of experience in business management, sales, or project management is mandatory. Prior experience in e-commerce and managing key accounts will be a plus point
    • Fluency in both Bahasa and English is required
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills
    • Proficient computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills
    • Proven ability to maintain projects and maintain effective relations with accounts or partners
About The Team
Online Merchants Sales team consists of experienced sales managers and account managers who handle Midtrans’ most strategic accounts on a day-to-day basis. The team is filled with energetic individuals who are solid team players, who support each other, who celebrate each other with peer-to-peer recognition initiatives.
