As a Supplier Engagement Manager, you will work closely with key product area stakeholders to ensure a single, centralized Procurement. You will oversee and manage the implementation, development, and enhancement of supplier initiatives within the procurement function. This role aims to drive consistency, adoption, and value of key supplier partnership programs across Google. You will support the implementation of supplier programs by creating roadmaps, timelines, and action plans for executing initiatives, such as third-party risk management, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience managing processes in a procurement, or supplier engagement or supplier relationship role.
  • Experience with supplier relationship management (SRM) programs
  • Knowledge of industry-specific procurement regulations and standards.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and driving adoption of procurement-related programs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to procurement activities.
Good to have:
  • Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of supplier programs within procurement by creating roadmaps, timelines, and action plans for executing initiatives, such as third-party risk management,and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, such as procurement teams, executive finance management, and cross-functional departments, to communicate the importance of GPO supplier programs with the intent to foster support for program initiatives, drive impact, and work toward mutual goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop policies, guidelines, and procedures related to GPO supplier programs and ensure alignment with legal requirements, industry standards, and corporate values.
  • Research and implement best practices in supplier management within procurement to identify innovative approaches and industry trends to enhance program effectiveness.
