Job Description

The UX Designer role at Google Cloud Consulting in Warsaw, Poland focuses on designing user interfaces and design systems for development tools. You'll work with cross-functional teams (customers, innovation team, product managers, and engineers) to understand their needs and create user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities include creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and specifications, developing interaction patterns, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the design process. The goal is to maximize end-user, developer, and business value and impact by creating intuitive, accessible designs for a suite of tools used for building, scaling, and growing web and mobile applications.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of interaction design experience
Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma)
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
User-centered design approach

Good to have:

Master's degree in related field
5+ years of experience designing for user-facing products
Experience with Google products and Material Design
Experience in a cross-functional organization
Knowledge of user-centered design principles

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
Experience in a variety of design tools (e.g., Figma).
Include a portfolio, website, or any other link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience designing for user facing products.
2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
Experience with Google products and the Material design system.
Knowledge of user-centered design principles.

You will be responsible for designing user interfaces and curating design systems for a suite of development tools for building, scaling, and growing web and mobile software applications working with the cross-functional team of customers, innovation team, product managers, and engineers to understand the needs and create user-friendly interfaces that meet those needs.

Responsibilities

Create detailed wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and specifications following a user-centered process to communicate product goals and design solutions.
Develop interaction patterns, define framework components, and apply visual styles consistent with design systems and the Google/Customer brand.
Collaborate with product management, customers, innovation team, engineering, and user research to define, test, and launch features that maximize end user, developer, and business value and impact.
Take input, requirements, and feedback from multiple stakeholders across different cross-functional organizations, and participate in regular design reviews.
