Job Description

The Product Designer II at Warner Bros. Discovery's Consumer Digital Products Group will provide concept, design, and product development support. This role collaborates with internal and external clients to fulfill creative briefs, coordinate marketing approvals, and pitch creative concepts to partners and retailers. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with licensing counterparts, overseeing product development, ensuring alignment with trends and brand standards, and adhering to legal requirements. Strong UX/UI, graphic design, or product development experience is necessary, along with proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC. The ideal candidate possesses strong visual communication, presentation, and organizational skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment. This role requires empathy for customers' needs and a strategic approach to complex product challenges. Domestic travel may be required.
Must have:
  • UX/UI, Graphic Design, or Product Development experience

About the Consumer Digital Products Group...

The Consumer Digital Products Group creates innovative, cross-platform experiences in the lifestyle media space, developing direct to consumer products for beloved brands such as Magnolia - a joint venture partnership with Chip & Joanna Gaines, HGTV, Food Network, the Travel Channel and more. Our mission is to create and design intuitive, inclusive, and impactful experiences, guided by empathy, that inspire, enrich, and elevate the customer experience across a diverse portfolio of brands and audiences.

Role Accountabilities...

  • Provide vital concept, design, and product development support by working collaboratively with internal and external clients to fulfill creative briefs effectively.
  •  Coordinate marketing approvals and confidently pitch creative concepts to key partners and retailers to enhance and broaden Warner Bros Consumer Products' footprint in the market.
  • Maintain solid relationships with key licensing counterparts and oversee the product development process to ensure all products align with current trends, uphold brand standards, and comply with legal requirements.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and user-centered design principles.
  • A willingness and desire to get feedback on your work from various partners, stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Proven experience in UX/UI, Graphic Design or Product Development within an established design agency or product design organization.
  • An empathetic individual that understands customers’ goals, needs, and behaviors and uses this knowledge to guide work, priorities, and decision making.
  • A proficient user of Figma and Adobe CC with strong visual communication skills and the capability to present ideas persuasively.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, detail-oriented, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills are required. You must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and traveling domestically as needed.
  • A compelling portfolio that showcases your skills in visual design as well as your strategic approach to complex product challenges.
