This Web Solutions Engineer III role at YouTube's Business Technology team involves designing, building, and deploying software platforms. Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years full-stack development & system design
- Experience with front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience with back-end (Java, Python, or C++)
- Database experience (SQL, NoSQL)
- Software platform design, build, deployment
Good to have:
- Multiple programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Experience with collaborative code review systems
- Version control, integration & automated testing
- System/product design and launch experience
- Protocol Buffers experience

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience with back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience in working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, etc.).
- Experience in working with systems for collaborative code reviews, version control, integration and automated testing.
- Experience with creating system/product designs and leading them to launch.
- Experience with Protocol Buffers.
