Summary

The Associate Manager, Merchandising at Disney Store plays a vital role in driving the business by leading the development and management of multiple product categories. Responsibilities include strategic planning, product development, and overall product management. This involves leveraging market trends and guest insights to create products exceeding expectations. The role requires collaboration with various teams (APAC Creative, Product Design, Product Integrity, Global Sourcing) both domestically and internationally. Key tasks include planning and executing product strategies, managing the product development process, negotiating with vendors, and maximizing sales and profits across assigned categories. This position requires a deep understanding of retail metrics (sales, inventory, procurement) and strong project management capabilities.

Disney Storeのビジネスをドライブさせる根幹は商品であり、その中核を担う商品開発チームは非常に大きな責任を伴います。その中でアソシエイトマネージャーとして複数カテゴリーの戦略立案、商品開発、商品マネジメントを担当頂きます。

職務内容:

ディズニーストアで販売する商品の企画開発(ゲスト動向や市場のトレンドを的確に捉え、常にゲストの期待を超える商品を提供する)をリードする。
マネージャーと共に商品部全体の商品戦略づくりおよび商品開発プロセスのマネジメントを行う。
商品部のカテゴリー戦略に基づき、担当チームの商品企画の立案と実行、またプランニング、アロケーション、サプライマネジメントチームと共に価格戦略、仕入計画、チャネル計画（店舗、EC ）を立案する。
計画に基づき、商品アソートメントを決定し、発注する。取引先との条件交渉を行う。
国内外問わず他部門、他チーム(APAC Creative、プロダクトデザイン、プロダクトインテグリティ、グローバルソーシング等)と連携強化し、ビジネスを円滑に進める
複数担当カテゴリーの売上・利益の最大化の責任を持つ

必須条件 : 求められる職務要件

5年以上のメーカーもしくはSPAでの商品開発経験
キャラクター商品の企画開発経験
取引先との折衝経験(納期、価格など)
チームマネジメント経験
(尚可)ビジネスにおいて英語を使用したコミュニケーションの経験

小売業に関する売上・仕入・在庫といった数値の基礎的な知識や考え方を有する。
コミュニケーション力
