The ideal candidate possesses strong bilingual communication skills (oral and written), a passion for the gaming or entertainment industry, a hospitable and helpful nature, and a deep understanding of cultural sensitivity. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

WORK DESCRIPTION

  • Interpretation and translation in Japanese and English

   Interpreting/translating in internal meetings and/or with companies overseas
   Supporting communication for staff members who don't speak Japanese or don't speak English

  • Providing various support for overseas staff who are relocating to Japan

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING

  • Experience as an interpreter, translator, or a similar role
  • Someone with Japanese and English bilingual communication skills (oral and written)
  • Someone with an interest and enthusiasm for games or the entertainment industry
  • Someone with a hospitality mindset and enjoys helping others
  • Someone with an understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to work well amongst people with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate actively and not be afraid to speak in front of people or cameras

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience working with foreign nationals
  • Past experience in the gaming or entertainment industry
  • Experience supporting people in relocating from overseas
