Your role and responsibilities:
You will play a key role in the design and build of AxiomSL regulatory solutions and be hands on with the development of the solutions working with other members of the product development teams.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility.
The Architecture team supports all AxiomSL Regulatory Products development teams, so you will also be involved with helping and assisting with other global initiatives and projects
Furthermore, you will:
Build/Test/Support tools (pipelines) used in the release of our regulatory software to clients;
Work with Application Development resources and wider team to analyze and understand business requirements and prepare/contribute to design specifications.
Contribute towards the development of regulatory calculation and reporting product modules.
Bring innovative ideas to improve our products, the quality of deliveries, and development processes.
Guide and support product implementation teams with the deployment and data integration of the regulatory applications.
Assist with troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Assist with L3 support of the existing products and solutions
We expect you to have
At least 3-4 years of software development experience
Proficient in Excel and experience with data modeling and ETL processes
Jenkins declarative pipelines
Basic Groovy scripting
Basic understanding REST APIs and networks
Basic Linux
Proficient in database query writing - preferably Oracle or MS SQL Server
Hands on development of Python or R programming languages and a good understanding of XML/XBRL
Strong written and verbal English in business and technical contexts
Knowledge of the software development lifecycles – particularly Agile and Prototype approaches
Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to understand and solve problems
Agile, dynamic, proactive personality.
Ability to multi-task and the ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands.
High sense of intellectual curiosity – self-ownership of learning and horizon-broadening opportunities.
Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree or equivalent from accredited university in Computer Science, Software engineering, Finance or other related degrees.
It would be great if you
An excellent understanding of the AxiomSL ControllerView Platform;
Axiom Scripting Language experience
Prior banking or financial regulation analysis
experience.
Experience with other programming languages like Java.
A good understanding of one of AxiomSL’s Regulatory Solutions.
