The Business Development Manager, IP Licensing, will close deals between top mobile game studios and IP holders like Hasbro and Paramount. Responsibilities include supporting the BD team in finding suitable IPs, reviewing proposals, building relationships with IP holders, managing end-to-end high-ticket sales processes, and working with IP holders to shape their gaming strategies. The ideal candidate possesses proven success in high-ticket licensing deals, gaming industry experience, a strong network within the licensing industry, and a passion for gaming.

Who We’re Looking For

We are hiring an IP Licensing Business Development Manager with gaming industry experience to close deals between top game studios and our expanding portfolio of IP holders.

What We Expect

You will:

  • Support our BD team and help them find the perfect IPs for our studios' portfolio.

  • Review proposals based on the Licensors' feedback and understanding of the IP.

  • Build and maintain relationships with renowned IP holders worldwide, partnering with them and deepening your understanding so you can match their brands with our game studio partners for revenue and brand-boosting crossover events.

  • Leverage your existing network to bring new IP holders to our portfolio of partners.

  • Manage end-to-end high-ticket sales processes, including negotiating, closing, and contracting.

  • Work with IP Holders to help them shape their strategy in the gaming space

  • Innovate and lead discussions that help shape your team and Yodo1 as a company.

You must have:

  • Proven success in end-to-end high-ticket licensing deals

  • Familiarity with brand licensing and/or experience in an IP-related project.

  • Experience in a sales, product, or licensing role in the gaming industry.

  • Network within the Licensing Industry.

  • Passion for and deep understanding of the gaming industry.

  • Understanding of game mechanics, liveops, and monetization strategies.

You might have:

  • Scalable thinking: Yodo1 is growing fast; those who can think big and own projects advance quickly.

  • Network of game studios, whether mobile, PC, or console.
