The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Dun & Bradstreet involves selling products and services remotely to new and existing clients. The primary responsibility is revenue growth through renewal management, cross-selling, and upselling. The BDR will make outbound calls daily to qualify prospects, schedule appointments for sales reps, and collaborate with sales partners to identify potential clients. They will hunt for new accounts, qualify leads, uncover customer needs, and position D&B's value. Active time management and continuous learning are crucial. An Associate's degree is required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

The Inside Sales function is responsible for selling the Company’s products and services to new and/or existing clients and developing or expanding accounts remotely via telephone or other electronic means. Primary responsibility is to maintain and grow the revenue stream through renewal management, cross-sell and up-sell of new opportunities. In order to receive credit for opportunities generated the meeting must be attended by the prospect invited.

Essential Key Responsibilities

    • Complete the required number of outbound calls on a daily basis to qualify prospects and schedule appointments for your dedicated Sales Reps to close
    • Collaborate with sales partners to identify accounts and prospects that have a propensity to buy, then act on this information using the resources at hand
    • Hunt new prospective accounts and contacts to qualify a lead through the earliest stages of the sales cycle process
    • Ask questions to uncover a customer’s need, authority, urgency, and ability to purchase and position D&B’s value against those needs.
    • Actively manage time with an emphasis on daily prospecting, activities, and learning & development

Education and Experience

    • Associate's Degree - Required
    • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
    • Years of Relevant Experience- 1 to 3 years
