As a Compensation Programs Analyst at Google, you will be responsible for building robust data models and analyses leading into each compensation planning cycle. You will also manage tools and resources available for the organization's use during compensation planning. You will be responsible for building reusable technology to scale and sustain program delivery and reusable analytics to automate insights and findings. You will manipulate large data sets and convey findings to leadership. You will participate in the research, development, and administration of assigned compensation programs, and monitor program success. You will create, consult, and review compensation policies and processes. You will work on projects such as deep dives, performance rating analysis and compensation policies. You will analyze compensation outcomes, draw conclusions and make recommendations for future consideration.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in analytical HR role, investment banking, management consulting (e.g., strategy, compensation) or similar analytical role.
- Experience using analytical methods, tools, and mathematical concepts to identify, design, recommend, and implement compensation solutions.
- Experience with HR policies, practices, principles, state and federal employment laws, and related regulations.
Good to have:
- Bachelor's degree Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Business Administration, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, executive compensation consulting, or similar fields.
- Experience in managing large data sets.
- Experience with SQL or R.
- Ability to consult/present findings to stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
