As a Product Manager, you will be establishing and maintaining the product roadmap which will drive Fluence to be a leader for our growing battery and systems intelligence capabilities.

In this role you will:

    • Define, maintain, and interpret product requirement related to battery and systems intelligence
    • Identify opportunities to increase customer value through joint hardware, software, and analytics work
    • Support cross-functional engineering and program teams in day-to-day problem solving, enabling teams to successfully progress towards targets
    • Develop and update business models that measure the financial returns on various investments.  Incorporate insights into all facets of work including day-to-day problem solving, budgeting, prioritization decisions
    • Monitor technology trends and identify opportunities to bring in new technologies, investments
    • Support regional sales and marketing teams in customer conversations around battery and systems intelligence
    • Advise on partnership and M&A strategy within battery and systems intelligence, including participating in M&A diligence teams
    • Support cross-functional engineering and program teams in their day to day problem solving to ensure program milestones

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

    • 3+ years of Product Management experience in the battery analytics, energy storage, or controls systems areas
    • A keen eye for value – an ability to tie product capabilities to customer value and quantify the financial benefit
    • Demonstrated effectiveness leading engineering teams to achieve ambitious targets
    • Deep understanding of how to construct and interpret a customer business case, including discounted cash flow modeling, IRR, and NPV calculations
    • Passion for using data to drive decision-making
    • Deep curiosity and empathy towards customers
    • Ability to build and deliver effective presentations to a wide range of audiences including senior leadership, technical, sales, customers
    • Background in product management in the energy storagy, controls systems, or battery analytics spaces
