Job Description

Adobe is looking for a Computer Scientist to join their team. This role involves developing new services, working in full DevOps mode including unit testing and deployment, collaborating with various teams to build product features, and participating in resolving production issues. The job requires a B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, with 4+ years of relevant experience in software development, excellent computer science fundamentals, and good understanding of design and performance of algorithms. The individual will be responsible for multiple phases of engineering, from early specs to development and deployment. The candidate should be passionate about the quality of work and uncompromising.

Must have:

B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
4+ years of relevant experience in software development.
Excellent computer science fundamentals and understanding of algorithms.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Rest Services.

Good to have:

Good knowledge of MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search, or Spark.

Role Summary

Digital Experience (DX) ( https://www.adobe.com/experience-cloud.html) is a USD 4B+ business serving the needs of enterprise businesses including 95%+ of fortune 500 organizations.

What you'll do

This is an individual contributor position. Expectations will be on the below lines:

Responsible for development of new services
Work in full DevOps mode, be responsible for multiple phases of engineering. From early specs, development, unit-testing/integration automation, and deployment.
Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to build product features
Participate in resolution of production issues and develop solutions to prevent future issues from happening again

Requirements

B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute.
4+ years of relevant experience in software development.
Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design, and performance of algorithms
Passionate about quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising
Required: Java, Spring Boot, Rest Services
Good Knowledge of any of MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search, Spark is an added advantage
