We are seeking a passionate Data Engineering Intern to join our enthusiastic Data & ML Engineering team at Rovio. In this role, you'll blend software engineering with the fast-paced world of data in the thrilling mobile gaming industry. You'll develop and maintain data pipelines, products, and services that drive the growth of Rovio's games. Your work will span from supporting productized datasets development  to building ML models, all aimed at supporting decision-making and enhancing the player experience. You'll collaborate closely with various teams on development projects, contributing to the overall success of our games. Additionally, you and your teammates in the Data & ML Engineering team will maintain Rovio's data platform and assist other teams with their daily data needs. You will have impact and fun at work by:

    • Assisting in high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines development and implementation to support and enhance our gaming platform's performance and features.
    • Maintaining data lake infrastructure and analytics tools, ensuring seamless data storage and accessibility while driving insightful, data-driven decisions.
    • Managing and enhancing our robust data warehousing systems and management platforms to support efficient data retrieval and analysis, ensuring data integrity and security.
