POSITION SUMMARY
We’re seeking a strategic, data-driven Digital Demand Generation Strategist to join our growing strategy team. This role is embedded within the marketing team of a major telecommunications client and plays a key role in shaping performance strategies that connect content, media, and digital experiences to business growth.
You will collaborate daily with the client’s Demand Generation team, driving strategy development across lifecycle stages — from acquisition to conversion — while ensuring the journey from content to landing page to purchase is seamless, optimized, and grounded in performance insights.
While not executing SEO strategy directly, you will work closely with the client’s SEO team to ensure that all content strategies support discoverability and conversion.
JOB DUTIES
Strategy & Planning
Lead demand generation strategies that align to product offers, business goals, and consumer lifecycle stages.
Partner closely with the client’s Demand Gen team to co-develop performance marketing plans that guide content direction and media priorities.
Build full-funnel strategies that drive measurable results across paid and owned media.
Content-to-Conversion Journey Mapping
Architect the path from awareness-driving content through to site experiences and ultimately conversion.
Ensure consistency and performance alignment across campaign landing pages, web content, and media tactics.
Serve as the connective tissue between creative, media, and web strategy teams to ensure the demand gen journey is integrated and effective.
Performance Optimization & Insights
Define KPIs, testing frameworks, and performance benchmarks in partnership with analytics teams.
Analyze data to extract insights and translate them into actionable optimizations.
Iterate strategy based on real-time performance and evolving consumer behavior.
SEO Integration
While not owning SEO deliverables, maintain a solid understanding of search behavior and work closely with the client’s SEO team to ensure journey mapping accounts for organic entry points.
Align content strategies with SEO-informed opportunities to enhance relevance and discoverability across the funnel.
4+ years of experience in digital strategy, demand generation, or performance marketing roles.
Proven experience developing cross-channel strategies that drive business impact.
Strong understanding of the North American (especially U.S.) consumer market and demand gen mechanics across digital platforms.
Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and the role of organic search in the consumer journey.
Strong analytical skills with a performance mindset — comfortable drawing insights from data and applying them to strategy.
Experience working with telecommunications or tech-forward enterprise clients is required.
Adept at collaborating in fast-paced, hybrid environments with creative, media, and analytics teams.
