We reach a mobile audience of over 900 million monthly unique users globally and process over 200 billion ad requests. The Chartboost SDK is the highest-integrated independent mobile ad SDK and through the Chartboost Exchange, Ad Network, and other services, we empower mobile app developers to build businesses, while connecting advertisers to highly engaged audiences.

About the role:

As the Director, Chartboost Exchange, you will own all aspects of 3rd party DSPs (Demand Side Platforms) buying on our platform. You will manage a team of account owners and work towards meeting and exceeding business goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.

You will utilize your influence to deliver outcomes. You will use internal business insights and external market knowledge to drive results for our most important buyers. While understanding Chartboost’s overall business goals, this leader will deliver direction, vision, and coaching, as well as be responsible for the success of quarterly sales targets. In this role, you will:

  • Define & execute strategies and action plans to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Deepen and expand existing relationships and close new business for the Chartboost Exchange, globally
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leads to identify opportunities by understanding core client business needs
  • Identify opportunities for strategic upselling and continue to grow the Exchange
  • Advocate for the value of programmatic advertising at industry events and client meetings, globally

  • You are able to manage outcomes by incorporating your own industry knowledge, a deep understanding of the programmatic mobile app advertising market, and learnings from internal and external analytics.
  • You know how to enhance productivity and performance without compromising innovation, culture, or revenue.
  • You exhibit high emotional intelligence and integrity at all times while showing the ability to build deep consultative partnerships with your business stakeholders.
  • You know how to manage through change in a fluid growth environment. You have experience managing many concurrent and interconnected initiatives in complex matrixed environments. You pair this with an expertise in making actionable decisions in the absence of perfect information and shifting circumstances.

What you bring to the table:

  • 10+ years of work experience in an account and sales ownership role or an operational capacity at the intersection of mobile app ads technology and digital marketing
  • Strong analytical and operational aptitude
  • Expert relationship-building skills
  • A consummate, empathetic, and experienced communicator with experience managing direct reports and coaching individuals through change
  • Experience influencing individuals at the executive level and driving strategic business transformations
  • Has the desire to lead and contribute to a fast-paced, hands-on, visionary culture
  • A demonstrated track record of owning outcomes during a measurable business transition.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $149,800 and $221,680 per year.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $170,200 and $251,920 per year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
