Job Description 

  • Working with the Legal Entity Controllers ensure the hedge request is uploaded onto the Technicolor Group Treasury portal (Diapason) once approved by RCC and details are then communicated to the key contacts.
  • Assist to ensure hedge tracking is updated, maintained, and provide inputs to the hedge effectiveness testing.
  •  Assist with the validation of monthly/quarterly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation and follow up of all accounts based on risk-based procedure (including tax receivables/payables) in Blackline.
  • Support with the request and approval of intercompany flows (amount, assignment, …) for all non - goods flows
  • Support the Legal Entity Controller with inputs required for tax, internal/external audits.
  • Continuously review processes and controls and identifying/implementing improvements
  • Support Finance transformation initiatives to deliver process standardization/systemization of revenue recognition, billing, reporting, and month end close processes.
  • Support with any other tasks as directed by the CAO and team.
  • Key involvement in the monthly close process for TCS European, North American and APAC entities, including preparation of periodic financial/management reports, provide journal inputs and analytical review.
  • Working with the country Legal Entity Controllers you will ensure all deadlines relating to the close process is respected, and that the GBS teams have all necessary documentation required.
  • Support the Legal Entity Controller with closing sign-off, produce all management accounts actuals (P&L, Balance sheet & Cash flow) including variance commentary with support/input from GBS teams.
  • Support with the reporting on balance sheet, working capital variance and provide detailed review and analysis of accruals, deferred income, and other key balance sheet accounts.
  • Support to ensure all IFRS 16 lease information and schedules are populated appropriately within the group lease management system.
  • Support with cash reporting and cash flow forecasts (Inflows) working with Commercial Finance, RCC (Revenue & Cost Control) Production Accountants and Legal Entity Controllers in accordance with TCS reporting timetable and when needed.
  • Provide reporting, other KPI’s and performance as and when requested.
  • Assist with the submission and request of foreign currency hedging for new projects/exposures in accordance with the TCS policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, part qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA equivalent).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounting as a Finance Analyst/Assistant or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  •  Experience in Accounting ERP systems, SAP PS6, Blackline and Board (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Consistent and highly organised. Self-motivated, committed.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to a varied environment.
  •  Good communication skills at all levels and through various means. (English).
  •  Enthusiastic for change and innovation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads in a changing and fast environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure. Team Player
