We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Services team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Global Services Sourcing, Specialist

We will count on you to:

• Negotiate for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies to minimize the cost of purchases and to ensure business goals are met.
• Participate in negotiations for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
• Implement and utilizes supply chain strategies to address capacity issues, etc.
• Develop and implements supply chain strategies and develops networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc.
• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
• Administer contracts in accordance with sourcing goals to ensure acceptable service levels.
• Research suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
• Research suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
• Work directly with the suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.

What you need to have: 

• 5-7 Years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement or Supply Chain related discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Spanish and English fluency.
• Extraordinary client focus skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.

• Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.

What makes you stand out?

• Portuguese fluency preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP
• Strong insurance and / or insurance broking business domain knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
