Job Description:

Blizzard is looking for a Human Resources Manager to support the Platforms and Technology teams. This role involves providing both tactical and strategic solutions for critical talent and workforce efficiency, as well as enabling organizational capabilities to achieve strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will lead and collaborate with global teams on engagement planning, succession, pipeline planning, workforce optimization, performance and rewards management, employee productivity, employee relations, and policy interpretation. The position requires a data-driven, analytical, and collaborative individual who can work effectively across a highly matrixed environment with multiple locations and time zones.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

This is a 6-month temporary position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement day-to-day HR workflow operations in a distributed environment, providing both in-person and virtual support.
  • Deliver a people plan by defining key milestones and managing execution.
  • Implement organizational change efforts, ensuring employee impact is at the forefront of organizational decisions.
  • Accountable for the approach and outcome on employment matters; improving intended performance and reducing people-related risks.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to allow them to grow and perform at their best.
  • Drive integrity and accountability for the implementation of the annual HR cycle to facilitate beneficial delivery, including workforce and talent planning, performance management, and total rewards.
  • Analyze, report, and use leading people metrics to continuously improve talent insights.
  • Identify levers and develop strategies that measurably improve engagement and retention (e.g., talent assessments, engagement surveys, exit surveys).

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of dynamic experience in all aspects of Human Resources.
  • Experience supporting and influencing leaders to make better people decisions that achieve business results.
  • Solid experience and passion for using facts and data to build people-centric solutions.
  • Creativity, high EQ, passion, and strong critical thinking skills with a willingness to take reasonable risks.
  • Outstanding project management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic business environment.
  • Highest level of integrity with a confirmed ability to gain trust from all levels of the organization.
  • Proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $87,480.00 - $161,910.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
