Job Description

The Inventory Compliance Manager at Google will manage silicon inventory (wafers, die, consigned materials), ensuring accurate tracking and documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy (99.5% target), reconciling supplier data with internal records (SAP), collaborating with foundry and OSAT partners, developing procedures to reduce inventory errors and losses, investigating discrepancies, managing aging stock, and generating reports to monitor inventory flow. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for interaction with vendors and teams. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills and experience in program/project management and inventory management (minimum 4 years combined experience).
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program/project management
  • 2+ years inventory management experience
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Manage silicon inventory
  • Maintain 99.5% inventory accuracy
  • Collaborate with partners
Good to have:
  • Experience in silicon/semiconductor industry
  • Data analysis & reporting tool experience
  • Understanding of inventory control principles
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 2 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to interact with local vendors and cross-function teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in silicon or semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles, practices, and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage silicon inventory wafers, die, and consigned materials, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of transfers.
  • Maintain the inventory accuracy, achieve 99.5% accuracy by reconciling supplier data with internal records using SAP.
  • Collaborate with partners and work with foundry and Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT) partners to align inventory control processes and reporting.
  • Develop and implement procedures to reduce inventory errors, losses, and ensure timely material receipts.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, manage aging stock, and generate reports to monitor inventory flow and identify improvement areas.
