Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth for Disney+ and Disney Media, focusing on generating advertising revenue through digital platforms, Connected TV (CTV), and social media, particularly programmatic advertising. This role requires a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape and involves developing innovative digital advertising solutions to establish Disney+ as a key CTV partner. Responsibilities include managing programmatic sales, building relationships with market partners (agencies, DSPs), exceeding revenue goals through tailored partnerships and campaigns, advising internal stakeholders on digital advertising strategies, developing new products and collaborations, creating and presenting new business opportunities, and monitoring market trends. The position is based primarily in Munich, Germany (4 days/week) and is a 2-year contract.

Job Summary:

Der Manager Sales ist für die Steigerung des Umsatzwachstums in den Bereichen Disney+ und Disney Media verantwortlich. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Generierung von Werbeeinnahmen über digitale Plattformen, Connected TV (CTV) und soziale Medien, wobei der Fokus insbesondere auf programmatischer Werbung liegt. Mit der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung von Disney+ als führende Streaming-Plattform erfordert diese Rolle ein tiefes Verständnis der programmatischen Werbelandschaft. Das Ziel des Managers Sales ist es, innovative digitale Werbelösungen zu entwickeln und Disney+ als unverzichtbaren Partner auf dem CTV-Markt zu etablieren.

Wir erwarten eine Bereitschaft, primär (4 Tage) aus unserem Münchener Büro zu arbeiten. Die Stelle ist befristet für zwei Jahre.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören im Wesentlichen:

  • Verantwortung für den programmatischen Verkauf: Aufbau und Pflege starker Beziehungen zu Marktpartnern (Agenturen, inkl. DSPs/DSP-Akquise), um innovative programmatische Werbelösungen zu entwickeln.

  • Umsatzwachstum: Erreichen und Übertreffen von Umsatz- und Wachstumszielen durch maßgeschneiderte digitale Partnerschaften und programmatische Kampagnen.

  • Marktkenntnis: Beratung interner Stakeholder in Bezug auf die digitale Werbelandschaft, insbesondere zu programmatischen Strategien und Lösungen.

  • Strategische Partnerschaften: Entwicklung neuer Produkte und Kooperationen mit anderen Geschäftsbereichen der Walt Disney Company.

  • Innovative Kampagnen: Entwicklung und Präsentation neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten für führende Agenturen und Direktkunden.

  • Marktbeobachtung: Verständnis und Antizipation von Markttrends zur kontinuierlichen Anpassung und Optimierung der Vertriebsstrategie.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen:

  • Umfassende Arbeitserfahrung in der digitalen Werbung, insbesondere im programmatischen Verkauf.

  • Tiefgreifendes Verständnis von DSPs, SSPs und der Funktionsweise programmatischer Ökosysteme.

  • Umfassende Kenntnisse der digitalen Medienlandschaft, insbesondere im CTV-Sektor.

  • Ein starkes Netzwerk von Kontakten zu Entscheidungsträgern in DSPs und digitalen Agenturen.

  • Eine nachgewiesene Erfolgsbilanz bei der Steigerung von Einnahmen und der Entwicklung langfristiger Partnerschaften.

  • Erfahrung im Verkauf von Werbelösungen an Kunden und Agenturen auf Managementebene.

  • Ausgeprägte Präsentations- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.

  • Die Fähigkeit, ein Team zu führen, zu motivieren und weiterzuentwickeln.
