TiMi Studio Group seeks a Senior Business Development Manager in Tokyo, Japan, to identify and secure IP collaboration opportunities in the Japanese market. Responsibilities include negotiating with licensors, building and maintaining relationships with Japanese IP partners, and ensuring smooth communication and long-term collaborations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience (15+ years) in the anime and game industries, strong networking capabilities within major Japanese game companies, publishers, TV stations, and animation studios, and a proven track record of managing business and strategic partnerships with major licensors. A deep understanding of game development, publishing, and operational processes is crucial.
Must have:
  • 15+ years in anime/game industry
  • Extensive Japanese IP network
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Manage strategic partnerships
  • Game development process expertise

TiMi is part of the Tencent Games division and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China with offices in Los Angeles, Montreal, Seattle, Tokyo, Shanghai and Chengdu. TiMi strives to create high quality, highly creative games with high fidelity across a wide variety of genres and platforms.

  • 日本市場におけるTiMi Studio GroupのIPコラボレーションなどビジネスチャンス捉える・実現するサポートを行い、ライセンサーとの交渉を推進すること。
  • 日本のIPパートナーと良好な協力関係を構築・維持し、円滑なコミュニケーションと長期的な協力を確保すること。

Requirements:

応募条件
  • 日本市場におけるIPパートナーに精通している方:日本大手ゲーム会社、出版社、テレビ局、アニメ制作会社のプロデューサー、ディレクター、上級管理職との人脈を有する方。主要なクリエイターや意思決定者と積極的に確固たる関係を構築できる方
  • アニメ版権・ゲーム業界で15年以上の勤務経験をお持ちの方。大手ライセンサーとのビジネスとパートナーシップを管理し、戦略的な協力関係を推進できる経験がある方。
  • ゲーム業界における開発、パブリッシング、運営プロセスに精通している方。また、エンターテインメント業界の企業との協力経験がある方を優先する。
  • 日本語が母国語レベルであり、英語または中国語のコミュニケーション能力があれば尚可。コミュニケーション能力に優れ、チャレンジ精神が旺盛な方。
