SimCorp is integrating Axioma Portfolio Optimizer into their Simcorp Dimension platform. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C#, .NET framework, object-oriented programming, and automated testing. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness. You'll identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, implement automated testing platforms, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Experience with Git for code versioning and Azure environments is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent business and communication skills and can understand client-specific requirements.
Must have:
  • Proficient in C# and .NET framework

We are integrating Axioma Portfolio Optimizer into our Simcorp Dimension platform, proficiency in C# is necessary for this integration We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C#, a deep understanding of its ecosystems, and a strong background in object-oriented programming. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the .NET framework, skilled in designing and implementing architectural patterns. Additionally, proficiency in automated testing platforms, unit tests, and Git for code versioning, along with experience in Azure environments, is highly desirable.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C# and the .NET framework.
  • Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Utilize code versioning tools such as Git for version control.
  • Work within a continuous integration environment to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications.
  • Leverage experience with Azure to design and deploy scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
  • Evaluate potential partners and assist with proof of concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners for seamless integration.
  • Require excellent business and communication skills, and to be able to understand client specific requirement.

What We Value

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in C# with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with the .NET framework.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as SpecFlow.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
  • Experience working in an Azure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with finance, particularly in portfolio optimization, is an added benefit.
