As a Business Development Representative, you will be collaborating with your paired Channel Sales Manager to reach out to Mid-Market and Fortune 1000 companies. You will be providing insights that showcase Actian technology and value proposition. Responsibilities include prospecting new partners, identifying new leads, and continually learning new skills. This role involves working in a sales team environment with Channel partner Managers, Account Executives, and technical engineering. You will utilize cutting-edge sales tools to connect with prospective customers, build relationships with decision-makers, and qualify prospects. The goal is to create new opportunities, manage leads, and contribute to messaging and content.
Good To Have:- Experience in enterprise SaaS and analytics
- Prior sales training and experience with salesforce.com
- Ability to use modern sales prospecting tools
Must Have:- 1+ years of sales or service experience.
- Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with managers & prospects
- Measurable track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment
- Experience with the mid-market/enterprise space
- Creativity and inquisitiveness about data, analytics and new technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
