Job Description

As a Business Developer at Infernozilla, you will identify promising video games, curate a list, and build relationships to schedule meetings between game studios and the CEO. Responsibilities include finding ideal video games, cross-checking existing databases, adding prospects to the CRM, finding contact details, tracking leads, assisting in team coordination, working with the CEO, and managing email outreach. This fully remote role requires working 35-40 hours per week and offers a base compensation plus commission.
Must have:
  • Identify promising video games in the market.
  • Find and gather developer contact information.
  • Manage time and find leads weekly.
  • Achieve sales and meeting KPIs.
  • Possess sales and negotiation skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience in the agency space.
  • Video game industry experience.

Infernozilla is a multi-award-winning agency based in Dallas, Texas, focused on Social Media, Community Management, and grassroots Marketing in the gaming industry. With nearly 170 long-term clients and 73 awards in 2023 alone, we excel at designing and executing high-impact community and marketing campaigns for our clients.


We strive to always go to all the depths to ensure all our clients are fully taken care of. Our vision is to be the go-to agency for indie game needs in Community Management, Social Media Management, Marketing, and the like.


We have worked with games such as Black Mesa, Escape from Tarkov, KovaaK’s, Ready or Not, Dungeons of Eternity, Walkabout Minigolf, and many others that we are proud to continue to support.


As a Business Developer at Infernozilla, you would be identifying the best current and upcoming video games, curating a list, and reaching out appealingly/building relationships with the goal of setting a meeting between the game studio and our CEO. You will ensure we continually have a full meeting calendar with prospective studio clients to fuel our agency growth KPI goals.


Job Responsibilities: 


  • Find ideal video games via Steam and other platforms
  • Cross-check the previous spreadsheets/CRMs  that we haven’t contacted previously
  • Add your prospect to the CRM
  • Find contact details of the decision maker of the studio and reach out to them with the goal of building a relationship leading to scheduling a call with our CEO for further conversations 
  • Track the status of leads and perform follow-ups as needed
  • Assist in the coordination and management of the Lead Generation/Business Team
  • Work closely with the CEO and other members of the business team to continue growing our client base
  • Draft email responses, manage our email outreach campaigns, review leads of lead gens, email our contracts to new clients
  • Other related tasks as needed


This role is fully remote, and the right candidate is expected to work full-time while managing their schedule of 35-40 hours per week. This position comes with a base compensation plus a strong commission for every meeting you have set that leads to becoming a client. 


Qualifications / Skills: 


  • Great eye and understanding of the video game market to identify good contacts. You are a gamer by night and spend hours during the day working or learning about the video game industry.
  • You’re a detective regarding finding developer contact information (don’t worry, we’ll point you in the right direction!)
  • Time Management: the ability to find a number of new leads and contact details weekly and reach out to them.
  • You strive to reach KPIs of sales/meetings set
  • You have a great knack for sales, negotiation, and setting meetings

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Proficient written and spoken English is a requirement for this position
  • While traditional education is admirable, we prefer to see a lead generation, appointment setting, and sales experience more than all.
  • Video games’ personal and professional experience will be highly considered. 
  • Other experiences in the agency space in a similar role would be epic!
